Whittington Reunion!

A couple weekends ago we had a reunion up past honeyville. It was for my dads side of the family and we had a ton of fun! We had group pictures and a talent show. I was volunteered as the person on the mic, so I did the anouncing and the raffle and the auction and I was in charge of the games so I was in front of everyone for a couple hours.....it was fun:D Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!:D

So I went to my moms house with the kids today. I just went to visit since I don't get to see her all that much and since Lainee starts school tommorrow and I am involved in lots of other fun things I decided to spend some time with her. I will be so busy the rest of this year!! She keeps mentioning how she doesn't get to see me that much. Anyway so she is making us some yummy cheesy chicken and broccoli and leaves it in the oven to bake. Then she has to go get my little sis and her car pool from school. I had parked behind her not thinking about if she had to go anywhere. It will take some getting used to since school is back in session! Anyway so I grabbed my keys and I was holding Kado and started down the stairs (she has a split level entry...ugh!) My first step was a little too far forward and only my heel hit the first step and it slipped forward and I fell straight onto my bum and my ring toe on my left foot caught the next stair and I slid down the steps. Poor Kado was caught in the middle of my clumsiness and was so scared he wouldn't stop crying. He saw me in pain and was so worried for me! He was fine thank goodness but I was in a lot of pain. I started to have a panic attack and my lungs wouldn't take the oxygen I was trying to suck in. I got all dizzy and had to lay there for a second. I finally got up and layed on the couch for a while but I was having cold sweats and I was risisting the urge to faint. My mom was standing at the bottom of the stairs in front of the door and watched me fall. She thankfully took Kado and my brother ran to see if everything was ok. My mom instructed him to go get the car pool so she could help me.
UGH! I feel like such a clutz! Now my poor bottom is bruised! I can barely sit down and my little toe is purple!! Is this a good enough excuse to get out of speaking in sacrament this sunday? haha jk!!!
Anyone else have a good clutsy story? So I don't feel like such a dummy!?

20 LBS!!!

I just wanted to say how excited I was that I lost 20 lbs in the last month! I actually fit into size 7 now and it's great! My hips have been streached out from having kids but other than that I feel great! But man oh man do I miss sugar...expecially chocolate!!! And it's hard when your favorite food is Italian and you can't have starchy food!!! I LOVE NOODLES!!! I really need an Olive Garden fix!! As soon as I am in the clear to have my starch I will be going straight there and ordering my favorite! Braised beef ribs with cheese stuffed tortellini!! My mouth is watering...I need to stop thinking about it.

Twilight saga!!!

I just finnished twilight, the first book and I started new moon yesterday...im really mad cause Edward just told Bella that he is leaving!!! I can't bring my self to pick it up now...but i've heard it gets better so I guess I'll just keep going....
Bunco was a blast last night!! I love my bunco gals!! (Koriann...bbbarrrrfff..hahahahahahaha)

8-8-08

Since Koriann told me I don't post enough blogs I have decided to tell you about my busy day yesterday. It was fun and it was a special day because it was 8-8-08! That won't happen again for a long time! Anyway so it started out at midnight of course. I was at our annual ward relief society camp out! We were playing a game, I don't know what it was called but I am such a dummy cause it took me like a half hour to really figure it out. Your supposed to get up and find a new chair if the person in the middle says something they have never done and you have done it...RIGHT? haha I don't even know if I have it right now!! It was fun anyway and we learned some fun things about everyone! We played some more games and sat and talked for a long time. We then decided to make some smores! Yum! The fire place was quite cozy except for the smoke that loved to take turns annoying each of us! Once we were done with that a few of us went into Lori's trailer and played apples to apples....it was decided that we were going to try to pull and all nighter....I was falling asleep after we were done playing and we decided to give that up and go to bed! It was about 5:30 am!!! Koriann and I informed everyone we would not be up for breakfast haha! The trailer got too hot for us to sleep in at around 10 am and we got up and made some cute jewlery out of dried up potatoes!
I was happy to get home after helping clean up a bit. Drew and I decided to go shopping once we were all showered....I smelled like fire pit.....so off to the store we went and that was quite uneventful. Once home from that I tried to take a nap but that only worked for like 20 mins...anyway then the wind picked up and the kids played in that for a while and I talked with my neighbor for a little bit. Then Lindsay came out and offered us some tickets to the weber county fair! We went and wandered around and Cameron and Lindsay took Makai to the demo derby. We didn't have tickets. Then they came and got us and gave us some tickets and we watched the cars beat eachother up! It was our first time going to a demolition derby and it was cool! Below are some fun pictures that we took.
When we got home from that we got ready for bed and oh!!! I for got to say that while we were at the store we got Twilight!! (I don't need to borrow your copy any more Mary...thank you anyway tho!) So Drew and I decided that after we read scriptures together we would take turns reading out loud Twilight! So Ben, You dont have to feel embarrassed that you are reading it cause Drew was the one that wanted to read it together!!
I started the first chapter and got to the part where she is leaving the air port to move in with her dad and I hear Drew start snoring....so much for reading it together!!! hahahaha!!
Anyway just thought I'd share that with you all...it was a fun day!

Fruits of our labor!!!

This is the first place that we have planted a garden and the other day we got our first product of it! Grape tomatos!! The kids were super excited to see that they came from our garden and the wanted to be the first to taste them! Unfortunatly they didn't like them haha! But I ate them and LOVED them!
We have a huge tomato that hasn't even started to turn red yet! It is going to be huge and I'm going to eat it like an apple!!! I can't wait! We also have cucumbers that will be done soon and I'm trying my luck at cantelope....we will see how that goes. We have a few little fuzzy things that could end up as cantelope so we will see.

Andrew's American Idol audition experience!

well after hours of waiting and preparing i got to audition for one of the american idol producers(for those who don't know, you audition for producers before you get to simon,paula, and randy). i sang "i'm yours" by jason mraz. With an excellent start, i had the dude bobbing his head a little, it all fell apart as i forgot the stupid words i have been working on for like a month, not once, but twice. i don't know if it would've made a difference , but i think i would of had a good chance to move on if i remembered my words.my brother-in-law Jaren went with me and he was pretty good singing "lean on me" the producer wasn't sure so he had him sing another song. he did some toby keith song which he sang well but i guess the producer dude wasn't a country fan so he got cut as well, but he was really close.two other girls were in our grup and they both sang pretty good too, but i guess the dude wasn't impressed enough. he told us we were good, but they had "raised the bar" and we weren't what they were looking for.

Who is smarter? Drew is pretty smart! We both know things in different areas but I would say he is smarter!

Who does the laundry? I do unless he needs something in particular then he does it.

Who pays the bills?We both try to work at it together. I usually take care of the check writing and he does the online payments. He is also the budgeter...

Who mows the lawn? Our land lord haha! But when we get our own place Drew will do it. He did it at our old place too.

Who does the dishes? Normally me cause I hate having a dirty sink/kitchen. I tell him to stick his dishes in the dishwasher but that doesn't always happen...

Who drives when you are together? I make Drew, I don't enjoy driving that much.

Who is more stubborn? I am! He is too easy going to be as stubborn as me! But he has his moments.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Me. He wouldn't want to bruise his ego hahahaha!! MEN!

Who kissed who first? Drew did and it was a big surprize! I had no idea he was gonna do it. But it worked out great!:D

Who proposed? We just agreed that we should get married...no official proposal....I did ask him to get down on one knee and ask once we got the ring tho...:D hehe

Who is more sensitive? ME! I'm a big baby! He never cries!

Who has more friends? I would say me cause he is kinda shy....
