Visitors and more visitors!

For the past couple of weeks we have had visitors. It has been lots of fun!!

This is my best friend from high school. We have lots of fun when we get together and we take tons of pictures!! Last saturday we went to Lagoon and we only got in for 9 bucks! gotta love bounce back! The lines weren't too bad either!!
She spent the rest of the weekend with her family in SLC.
She spent the week with me and one of our activities was an 80's night! It was tons of fun!! On saturday she headed back to her family in SLC and we had the next visitors show up early sunday morning.


They went to lagoon and we took their kids to church. After that we had dinner with them and another one of our friends from high school and his wife. It was like a high school reunion!!

These guys used to sing in a group called Envasian haha! AHH the memories!

On monday we went to The Living Planet Aquarium! It was SOOO COOL!! The kids loved it!

They had lights that changed the colors of the jelly fish! It was awesome!!

These jelly fish were so pretty!

They let you touch the sting rays! It was cool! Lainee was so afraid to touch them! She tried once and chickened out and then it jumped up at her and scared her half to death!!!

They had other things you could touch. The kids thought it was pretty cool!

There was a big tank with lots of sharks and this cool sting ray that liked to show us his underside!

Lainee was scared of the sharks! She liked that there was a thick piece of glass between us!

The shark tank was our favorite, we spent alot of time just watching the sharks and other sea life. We even went back to it after we toured the whole place!

This place was fun! Drew liked it too! lol!

After the Aquarium we stopped by the mall then went to the Mayan! I love this place no matter how many times I've been!

The kids thought it was pretty cool too!

We sat right next to the diving pool where the divers walk by pratically naked!!! lol!!! We tried to get a picture with one but my camera died!!! UGH!

On Tuesday before they headed back to NV we went up to the top of Ogden divide and had a picnic and took some fun pictures. I'll post more of what I took of the boys in a later blog.

Drew got creative and we went camera crazy, you guys only get to see a couple otherwise you would be looking at my blog all day lol!!!
It was nice having people in town that we haven't seen in a long time but it will be nice to go back to the norm. I have missed being lazy lol!

Goodbye's are no fun! So we had to make it fun!!

Andrew's mom is going back to the Philippines for the winter. (I know we all want to jump into her suitcase!!) So we had a going away party for her!
We want to thank everyone for coming and saying goodbye to her! It is also her Bday on the 30th so we meshed them into one party, a goodbye birthday party lol! We are going to miss her sooo much!! She is so wonderful and generous!!! We can't wait till she comes back!!
Andrew's dad will be staying with us while she is gone! We are excited to share the holidays with him! But of course, like I said, we will miss Gramma Melo while she is gone!!!

Ok for these next one you might want to consider not looking... LOL I'm trying to Potty train Kado and I let him go bottomless. He decided to work out...NaKiD!!!:D lol!!

In remembrance

My Grandma died this year. She is an amazing woman! She made you smile so easily and she's always smiling! She made you feel better if you had an owie. She helped you and comfort you if you had a bad day! She knows how to heal with her touch. Her comforting hand is always there and always makes you feel better. She makes me want to be a better person. I want to be just like her!! Even to this day I feel her presence. Even if it's just for a moment, she comforts me!!

I love my Grandma so much! She is so amazing! I can only try everyday to live like she did! I can't wait to hug her again someday!!!:D

Kai's first day of preschool!!!

There he is my little boy who is not so little anymore....

That's the look that says, "just leave already" lol!! He loves preschool and doesn't fight me about it at all! He talks about it all the time and has no problem with me dropping him off. He just walks right up to the door and waves me off!! I'm just like fine! I'll see you in a couple hours I guess! sheesh!


















Now if only Kado would go to nursery....

Drumroll please!!!

LOL ok so they didn't say Andrews new calling in sacrament meeting and do the "raise your hand thing" lol But they did set him apart. Which I thought was kinda confusing cause I thought you were supposed to be "okayed" by the congregation before the setting apart....Oh well anyway I figure it's ok to say it cause he is already doing the calling and going to meetings.
He is now the Elders Quorum Secretary!! It's exciting!! It's funny too cause the Pres. wife is in the young womens with me lol!
I am excited for him to keep growing stronger in the church! I just love it that he does all this work for his calling and is being responsible about it! I love him!:D

A little about my calling. I will be completing my Personal Progress along with our girls. We have a little competition going on. It's the leaders against the Young Women. Who ever completes the most combined by the end of the year wins! The losers have to cook the other group a meal!! It's gonna be fun and I hope we win! I have already completed a few things! So watch out girls!
