An answer to my prayers!

Drew and I have lived in Utah off and on since I was pregnant with Lainee. We got married in Nevada and then we got pregnant a month later. When I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant I asked Drew if we could move to Utah so I could be closer to my family. Expecially my mom. I was having my first kid and I needed my mommy to help me with the experience. So Him being the amazing man that he is, we packed up and moved. We lived with my sister and her hubby for a while and we had the basement apartment. We then moved from that to a house up by weber state. We shared a 3 bedroom house and I had Lainee while we lived there. I loved being close to my family during that time! But there was still something missing.

Back in Nevada Drew and I had some really good friends that we missed alot. And I missed my best friend from high school so when Lainee was about 4 or 5 months old we moved back to Fallon. We lived there for a while. Things got rough for Drew and I. But we pushed through it and decided we needed to be in Utah and close to my family so we could have their good influences. When I got pregnant with Makai in October we moved back to Utah a couple months later. We stayed with my mom for a about 3 months. It was nice to be "home". But we needed our own space. My sister had gotten a divorce and was living in a little house down from Weber high. She agreed to let us take over the rent and move in. Drew finally found a good stable job with insurance. Things were good. But, something was still missing. We had Makai in July and a few months after that with a lot of preparation we were sealed in the Temple as a family! It was amazing! My sweet lovely children all dressed in white. It was the best day of my life. Now your all thinking, "that must have been what was missing". Yes it was the best day and nothing could ever be better!

Life went on and it was good! But like I said, something that I needed in my everyday life was missing. I prayed for it to bless my life. I thought I got it a couple times. But it never amounted to much. I don't know why I need it so badly but I do and it really makes a big difference in my life. Sanity, depression, selfworth, patience! I get all these things when I have this special thing in my life!

After Drew and I had Makai we lived in that house for a couple years or so and then we got preggo with Kado. We knew that we needed a bigger place for our growing family to live. So we went searching. We wanted to buy our first home. We got very close. But it fell through because our loan officer wasnt the best. So we had to find a place fast cause Kado was due in October! We finally found a rental in Ogden. The place were in now. It is 3 bedrooms, 1 and a half bath. Much bigger than our first 2 bedroom one bath place. We moved in and I had Kado a month later. Our ward here is amazing. The people are welcoming and caring! I have alot of great friendships where we have alot in common and we really care about eachother! I love everyone!!! I was still praying for that blessing, and I finally found it!!!
We are now home owners and have found a great house. It is big enough that we can stay in it a long time. Even if we have more kids! Everything is great! We do have to move out of our lovely ward but that blessing that I finally found wont go away!! And if she does it will be like losing a blood related sister! I have been needing someone like her for so long. She makes me sane. We have tons of fun. She makes me want to be a better person and pushes me use my talents! I beleive she is Heaven sent and I know that we were best friends before we came to this Earth! We told eachother we would find eachother in this life. To help eachother get through life and to return to Our Heavenly Father again!!

I hope you know what you mean to me. I hope you know that with out you I would be a big loser!!! Lets not let me moving out of the ward change our friendship:D

I have a dream

I absolutly love ABBA! I think they are amazing! I turn up the stereo way loud and the kids and I sing along to ABBA! The kids expecially love Chicatita!! But we cant listen to it when we are with daddy cause he doesnt like it....:(
This is my favorite song right now! Its off of the Mama mia sound track!

"I have a dream"

I have a dream, a song to sing,
to help me cope with anything,
if you see the wonder of a fairy tale,
you can take the future even if you fail,
I believe in angels
something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
when I know the time is right for me
Ill cross the stream- i have a dream

I have a dream, a fantasy
to help me through reality
And my destination makes it worth the while
pushing through the darkness still another mile
i beleive in angels
something good in everything i see
I beleive in angels
when i know the time is right for me
Ill cross the stream- i have a dream
Ill cross the stream- i have a dream

I have a dream, a song to sing
to help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I beleive in angels
something good in everything i see
I beleive in angels
When I know the time is right for me
Ill cross the stream- I have a dream
Ill cross the stream- I have a dream

our first HOUSE!

I have some good news and some bad news. Bad news mostly for my lovely 6th ward family and good news for my little family. We have moved onto the next big step in life! We just bought our first home! We have been looking and trying to buy a house for 3-4 years now! And finally it is our time! We are so blessed! Thank you Lord! I am so glad we waited till now to buy! It is a great buyers market! There are alot of great first time home buyer incentives! First we were approved for the Own in Ogden grant and we got the full 5000 dollars that went towards our down payment! 2nd and best of all we will get 8000 dollars for being first time home buyers from the government that is FREE MONEY! It's pretty exciting!:D

The bad thing about it, and whenever I think about it or talk about it I get teary (so I'll be breif), is that we will be moving out of our lovely 6th ward. We will be in 7th ward now and the boundaries are sooo close! It's frustrating! But we will be able to keep in touch with everyone, we arent moving out of town!! And I know there are great people everywhere that we will be able to love just as much! 7th ward will be good to us I'm sure!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay in touch!! We will be just down the street from the Holmes and the Larose's!! I'm still gonna be in BUNCO and involved in PTA! I'm not going far! Lets still hang out, I'm going to need the support with moving and I need friends in this time of my life!

Lainee's first lost tooth!

Lainee has had a wiggly tooth now for about a month and for the past few days it has just been hanging by a string practically! We finally were able to get it out! We tied a string around it and I had her pull it. She said it hurt too much and that she wanted me to take the string off soooo I pretended to take the string off and I just grabbed the tooth and pulled it out! It came out so easy and she said It didn't even hurt! She was sooo excited! We put it under her pillow and thankfully remembered to play the tooth fairy! (didnt want to have what happened to Mayme and Tally!) She was happy to get 2 quarters and didnt complain this time. "BUT MOM! TALMADGE GETS A DOLLAR!" haha!!

I just love going through these firsts! They are so exciting! Childhood is so priceless! You have to make it great for the kids!!!

Tu Tu's!!!

I was "roped in" according to KoriAnn to make these adorable Tu Tu's. My Friend is addicted to watching studio 5 and they featured these easy to make Tu Tu's a while ago and we finally got around to making them! They were soooo easy! Although a sewing machine would have been great! (cant find mine....) They turned out sooo adorable! I know Lainee loves hers and the little girl that KoriAnns babysits will love hers!!

We couldn't help but put it on the boys tho! Poor Kado and Cameron were our models for the Tu Tu's!! so cute! and we couldnt have done it with out Jeremiahs permission for Cam! hehehe!

Kado saying cheese! sooo cute!
