Kids say the darnest things!!

Yesterday I decided to ask my kids some questions just to see what thier responses would be. They are pretty funny esspecially Makai's lol! I'll start with Lainee.
Lainee's Q's and A's. January 7th 2010, 6 1/2 years old.
1.) Q: Why do you think the sky is blue?
A: Because Jesus made it like that.
2.) Q: How do you think peanut butter is made?
A: You already told me that, they get nuts and smoosh it.
3.) Q: How do you think shows get onto T.V.?
A: They make the disc a little magic.
4.) Q: Why do you think Heavenly Father sent you to this family?
A: Because he wanted me to have someone to love.
5.) Q: What does Daddy do at work?
A: He fills in lot of papers and does what his boss says.
6.) Q: What does mommy do?
A: She makes ice cream and you take care of us at home.
7.) Q: How does a tomato grow?
A: From a seed and then a plant.
8.) Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: A teacher, so I can teach them lots of stuff.
9.) Q: What do you do when you are married?
A: You get a ring and you get kids and you make out. Q: What is make out? A: Having fun like going out for dinner. (I LOVE THIS ONE LOL!)
10.) Q: What do you think Heaven is like?
A: There's sand on the ground, you wear flip flops, there's waterfalls and rocks and Jesus lives there and Heavenly Father.
11.) Q: Why does the tooth fairy take your teeth when you lose them?
A: Because, so she can make a castle out of them.
12.) Q: Who do you want to be like when you grow up?
A: Mommy, cause I love her and she's nice.

Makai's Q's and A's January 7th, 2010, 4 1/2 years old.
1.) Q: Why do you think the sky is blue?
A: Because Jesus lives up there.
2.) Q: How do you think peanut butter is made?
A: By cactuses, no, I don't know. Oh from plants.
3.) Q: How do you think show get onto T.V.?
A: First we press play, then it starts.
4.) Q: Why do you think Heavenly Father sent you to our family?
A: Because he wanted me here.
5.) Q: What does Daddy do at work?
A: Get money so we can save to go to the philippines and we save money in our piggy banks.
6.) Q: What does mommy do?
A: Do ice cream and fries at work. Go on the computer and go on the phone.
7.) Q: How does a tomato grow?
A: A tomato grows by a plant and a tomato grows a little bit more faster.
8.) Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: A karate boy. I don't want to be a karate boy. I do want to be a karate boy. (just can't make up his mind lol!)
9.) Q: What do you do when your married?
A: you get a baby and I don't know.
10.) Q: What do you think Heaven is like?
A: I don't know. Really light and God hopes were being good.
11.) Q: Why does the tooth fairy take your teeth when you lose them?
A: Our teeth get loose...... Mommy, are tooth fairies real? she makes your teeth into pennies.
12.) Q: Who do you want to be like when you grow up?
A: Daddy, cause I have black hair and cause I want to go to the same work as daddy.

Kado's Q's and A's January 7th, 2010. 2 1/4 years old.
1.) Q: Do you love me Kado?
A: yeah, tuz. (tuz is cause)
2.) Q: Are you two?
A: Yeah, tuz.
3.) Q: What's your favorite show?
A: ummm.....bob bob and patick. (sponge bob and patrick)
4.) Q: Can I have a kiss?
A: Yeah. SMOOCH SMOOCH. lol
5.) Q: How old are you?
A: hmmm....Kai, Kai....Lay-yee.....Kay-yo. (Kai is Makai, Lay-yee is Lainee, and Kay-yo is Kado.)
6.) Q: Are you stinky?
A: No. Lay-yee stinty.
7.) Q: Where's daddy?
A: *Ight der, (points at picture on fridge). (*right there)
8.) Q: What's your favorite movie?
A: hm...fish....sh...sh. (IDK what movie that is!)
9.) Q: Do you love Grandma?
A: Yeah, Tause Bahpa. (Bahpa is Grandpa)

During each kids question time Kado sat there and tried to answer the questions. He would talk babble that I didn't understand and he would repeat it over and over while getting closer and closer to my face till I gave him some sort of recognition. haha! I had to give him a turn. Even though his are harder to understand I still think it's cute.
It will be interesting to read back on this in a few years and maybe even give them the same Q's when they are older to see what the difference is!

My wish list for 2010.

Instead of making resloutions which usually only last till feb for me. I am going to make a list of things that I wish to accomplish this year.

1.) This year I wish Drew lots of success with being a Real Estate Agent! I eventually hope he can replace that with working at his other job that he doesn't enjoy that much. <3

2.) This year I want to get my kids into Ogden prep academy. Makai will start kindergarten there and Lainee will start 2nd grade.

3.) I wish that Kado will be fully potty trained by this years end!

4.) I wish to grow my family this year! (don't ask questions, just accept it lol)

5.) This year I hope that we can afford to get new flooring for our house.

6.) I would love to visit Hawaii or the PI (again) this year. I need a tropical vacation!

7.) I would like to further my education. Not sure yet in what but something to fall back on just in case.

8.) This year if I have enough time and patience I would like to work on my photography hobby. Maybe make it into a career.

9.) I wish to be able to plan and organize girls camp for my ward so that it will turn out great and memorable for the girls. Organization is key!!!


There are probably more but these are just the main ones. We will see at the end of the year if we can do all these things! Wish me luck!!:D
