My new calling & I miss you!!

Today was my first day as beehive advisor that I taught the girls. I was nervous mainly cause I always get that way. Expecially when I am getting in front of people. When they expect something from me that is supposed to teach them to grow spiritually. So there I was stumbling over my words, talking too fast. I could feel my face warming at parts when I would get embarassed. I told myself I had no reason to be nervous. They know I'm not perfect (at least I hope they don't think I am!!) I have a testimony! AND that was what my lesson was about! So I just let the spirit take over. It felt better but I did laugh at a few of my own jokes....lol. I admit to you now and always that I am a big nerd! People probobly think I'm a weirdo but all I can say is your missing out on a good time with your prejudgements.
Since moving to the 7th ward I have made some great friends! I must say that I miss my 6th ward family! But now is when I need to make 7th ward my family. I cried alot when I was moving and when I first got here. (Erin knows how I feel). Being afraid of the unknown is a natural feeling in my opinion. The unknown can surprise you thats for sure. Many blessings are hiding there! I am glad I still get to see my old friends every week pretty much! I'm glad we are able to stay friends even though we now have less in common. (play groups should be planned more often with me included!!!!)
I hope and pray that I can teach these girls something! I LOVE them all! They are so sweet! I also hope I can learn something and that my testimony can grow by teaching them and being around them! I can't wait for the activities and time we will get to spend together!

I also need to say something to a special someone, but I won't be posting it in a blog. Who does that anyway?!?!
